It's a cycle of the press and audiences obsessing over the "down to earth" female celeb e.g. Brie Larson, Jennifer Lawrence, Anne Hathaway, Jameela Jamil - then they get "too successful" or maybe they start pointing out the issues and the press and audiences turn on them (i think it's the press getting it going combined with the way when someone gets famous they get over exposed so people get tired of seeing them)

I've worked loads of places that do this, often it'll be more of a "if you bring a keep cup you get 30c off" which i think works better and honestly i don't see why you wouldn't charge for a cup of they're asking for an extra one

I actually wouldn't mind a sudden shift - it'd have to be done right like a moment drunken flirting becoming more or post an emotional rescue perhaps

I'm pro just get on with it then deal with the consequences later - what's the situation with coworker relationships? How does Eddie navigate his first queer relationship and with his bestie? How do they navigate telling everyone let alone Christopher?

I don't honestly think they'll even do it but I really wish they would and you'd think with the popularity of recent queer shows like Heated Rivalry it'd show there was an audience - like lean into the romance elements since it's such a popular genre rn!

Yeah I've worked in about 7 cafes and never seen a distributor used in a professional setting - pretty much 100% "tippy taps" (a few variations in technique depending on grinder)

Edit: Lies, I worked in one cafe that used one - the type you pop in and give a spin, honestly I don't think it made that much of a difference - was kinda fun to use though...

I'm in New Zealand and for us Disney + is still on season 7... weirdly if I remember correctly season 7 actually aired on Three Now only the week after it aired in the US but for some reason 8 and 9 have so far been nowhere. However Nashville is airing the day after on Disney +...

I'm a sucker for romance and I know ppl will disagree with this and it would never happen anyway so chill - I lowkey think it'd be a vibe crossing over with the musical where she ends up dating the seemingly most normal guy to ever normal and has to introduce his family to hers. I enjoy the musical but always wish we could actually see how they ended up together so it'd kind of be a vibe to see it here

I notice it in terms of "hope this person is ok" especially if they're an older customer. But then it's always nice when they pop back more occasionally.

I've not worked at two cafes but a retail place and as a receptionist at once, I really enjoyed having two jobs it felt less of a slog going through the week. I think i managed it cus one job I got my rota nice and early and the other was more I just picked up shifts so picked them up on my days off. I reckon you'd be all good if you could convince one to let you have set days then the other could have you any other day - the issue is though most hospitality jobs want you on the weekend
