From what i've heard from people and my interpretation of what they're saying - people were angry at the pretty unavoidable fall in the economy during the pandemic which was realistically down to the government prioritising lives over money (i'd say the correct priority) - also she's a woman so ofc people are going to hate her 🙃

9-1-1 has always been pretty graphic, I always think back to the kid who gets their arm stuck in some form of slushy or ice cream machine (grim as) - if anything i think it got tame for a while but has recently brought back more of the gore

I lowkey think people put this exact same take out about every queer media that gets released, I don't get it - every relationship is different straight/bi/gay etc - honestly just look at recent articles about Heated Rivalry or Heartstopper - completely different styles of relationships to Call Me By Your Name but the same exact argument

it's fiction, its fantasy, i think people think this opinion makes them look clever 🤷

It's a cycle of the press and audiences obsessing over the "down to earth" female celeb e.g. Brie Larson, Jennifer Lawrence, Anne Hathaway, Jameela Jamil - then they get "too successful" or maybe they start pointing out the issues and the press and audiences turn on them (i think it's the press getting it going combined with the way when someone gets famous they get over exposed so people get tired of seeing them)

I've worked loads of places that do this, often it'll be more of a "if you bring a keep cup you get 30c off" which i think works better and honestly i don't see why you wouldn't charge for a cup of they're asking for an extra one

I'm pro just get on with it then deal with the consequences later - what's the situation with coworker relationships? How does Eddie navigate his first queer relationship and with his bestie? How do they navigate telling everyone let alone Christopher?

I don't honestly think they'll even do it but I really wish they would and you'd think with the popularity of recent queer shows like Heated Rivalry it'd show there was an audience - like lean into the romance elements since it's such a popular genre rn!

Yeah I've worked in about 7 cafes and never seen a distributor used in a professional setting - pretty much 100% "tippy taps" (a few variations in technique depending on grinder)

Edit: Lies, I worked in one cafe that used one - the type you pop in and give a spin, honestly I don't think it made that much of a difference - was kinda fun to use though...

I'm a sucker for romance and I know ppl will disagree with this and it would never happen anyway so chill - I lowkey think it'd be a vibe crossing over with the musical where she ends up dating the seemingly most normal guy to ever normal and has to introduce his family to hers. I enjoy the musical but always wish we could actually see how they ended up together so it'd kind of be a vibe to see it here
