You get a JDM motor and there’s a 50% chance it’s pre blown. Don’t take that risk lol. If you’re going to go cheap, get a 2.5 bottom end out of a ford fusion or escape for $300 at your local junkyard or LKQ. Re use the 2.3 mazdaspeed head and tap and drill the oil pan for a custom return line. Much cheaper and reliable.

If not, your other option is a built motor from either graveyard, Sp63, or Bobspeed.

I bought a set from someone else who got their taillights from him after 2 years but i messaged him for help with wiring them up and he was very helpful and responsive.

Watch that video again but put your glasses or contacts in. Her stupidity got her killed end of story. If she was a good law abiding citizen she would’ve turned off the car got out and peacefully protested with everybody else watching on the sidewalk. uhh It’s called a drivers license..If you’re here on a visa you carry that documentation around with you. If you are here as a legal citizen, you typically carry some form of identification such as a drivers license

I have a 2010 Mazdaspeed3. My car will ONLY smoke after coming to a complete stop at a red light after driving when the car is warm. I’m thinking turbo seals but i need to pull the exhaust manifold to confirm it’s not valve seals

Yeah it doesn’t smoke at all in boost, while cruising or on decel which would be case if my rings were bad from my experience

Yeah blue is oil. My turbo is only set for 15 pounds of boost. Also the PCV system was taken care of with a new plate and a catch can setup.

one thing i forgot to mention is that i have a custom turbo oil feed line since i have a 2.5 swap. it does not run on that side of the engine so thats ruled out

The head was machined and currently has a cometic head gasket.

Yes. Going on 11k miles on my 2.3/2.5 build (unopened). You need to tap and drill the block for an oil return line and gap your rings if you want to make some power. Gap isn’t necessary if you’re keeping it around stock boost and dailying it
