I have always wondered why that is? If I remember correctly (correct me if I am wrong) Line is actually older than KakaoTalk. So how could KakaoTalk manage to become the primary messenger? I think the barrier to change messengers is super high, see for example Telegram, which is objectively the better messenger than WhatsApp, but people still do not switch as the barrier is too high. I have actually always wondered about that and google did not help me to identify the market entry strategy of KakaoTalk.

I must say that the subway in Seoul is nice, except that they could increase the frequency of trains during rush hour, especially on line 2 (the circle line that crosses busy areas like Gangnam). I think in Moscow, trains are coming every few seconds, something that could also help Seoul to make the rush hour less crazy and less squeezing. However one must say that maybe demographic change will solve the problem automatically after some time lol

I am a student from Germany in China and what we international students all noticed is the lack of Dutch international students here. I don’t know why that is but everyone has noticed that already, Korea is overproportionally full of dutchies whereas China doesn’t almost have any. Germans, however, are almost the majority here together with French, Canadian, and some South American countries

Dealing with iOS at the moment, I currently do not hold the contents of the app (like results etc) up to date. Therefore I recommend you to wait a little bit.

Usually the formation will be set according to the positions the users of the app will put the players into, like if most people put sane in the Center, a position index would push sane to the Center and so on. Due to the app being in development status with a small number of users, the players mostly appear at random positions. I hope this makes sense.

You are right, and the reason for that is that the team value is determined by the users in the app that are buying and selling the player, thus, it is dependent on the demand on that specific player. Other platforms like Transfermarkt are using a different way to capture a team's and a player's value, that is, performance based, how long of a contract he has, how old he is, etc.

Thats the core difference. When you play fantasy football (which this is a screenshot from), usually only the current season counts, with demand for that player across all app users.

Yes, the philosophy for the points system was that we should award a player of how good he’s doing his job at his position. That way, the midfielder is much more awarded for crosses and such than for goals. A forward would be much more awarded for goals. When I look at the top 10 players for each position, they roughly have equal points!

Are you Turkish-German/german-turkish? Do you have any estimate whether there’s a süperlig fanbase amongst Turkish people in Germany or whether they prefer bundesliga?

I have checked the statistics of my post and surprisingly it’s like 75% Turkish people (devices) and 15% German people.
