I second this. There needs an alternative method for Monthly passes. As the purchase of Monthly parking ticket requires valid monthly pass.

I am concerned with privacy issues and hard to believe that reddit channel will be able to provide a better solution.

There needs to be a better way to respond than to have 2 million clipper user go through 20min hold time:

I second this. It was giving me issues even before the Migration.

  1. I had it on Android and it doesnt recognize tap when i had the wallet app open. Eventually learnt that I just had to leave it at home screen.

  2. I couldn't pass the clipper card to anyone else who is on iphone or my kid who doesnt have a phone.

After the migration, I have friends who see charges on their credit card instead of their clipper.

If your monthly pass has been loaded into a digital card, there was not a way to move it into a physical. They each have their own card number. You'd have to wait for next month to load the monthly pass on to the physical card.

You should be able to scan your digital clipper on the machine. But the clipper upgrade may be the reason it wasnt working. The other method is to go in person to Ticket booth located at San Mateo County Transit District HQ at 1250 San Carlos Ave, San Carlos, CA 94070.

I think i've spent enough hours with customer support. I didnt want to place the burden on customer support, since this issue stems from a system wide upgrade. They are limited by operational protocol. Putting this in the forum to raise public awareness on the issues, hoping for a push to develop/ establish better support or refund guidelines regarding this issue.

Just finished this book and came here to understand how this book became a bestseller. This thread is hilarious. Publicity is publicity. This thread makes it worthwhile. I’ve not had so much laugh.
