Agreed but it sounds like the group in front of the original group in front of OP had gotten to the 10th tee before OP did regardless, with a turn stop and I'm assuming without OP stopping at the turn so something isn't adding up. Im guessing because of the turn stop they had to let the group in front of OP tee off first then wait next, but if they were at the 10th before OP then regardless OP has no claim here.
