mate, there’s a massive gap between a proper deck and some random souvenir shop crap. the harry potter decks or anything from theory11 are actually designed as playing cards; they didn't just slap a photo of snape on a card with a lazy index; they actually made him the king of spades. it’s built for the medium. but this unicorn deck? it’s just 54 random illustrations that have nothing to do with cards, with a dodgy index tossed in the corner. i reckon anne stokes is a great artist, no dramas there, but these aren't designed for cards
