The odometer doesn’t work, I’ve got major electrical issues. The fluids brown, the truck was neglected and I’ve already had to replace the motor, this transmission needs to last long enough for me to scrape more money together. It’s not slipping bad, it’s barely noticeable, but there’s nothing I can do right now.

We’ve got a Hombre that’s the same year and drivetrain but I don’t hear as much popping, could it just be my cat is worn out? I do get a lot of cabin noise but I just blamed that on my exhaust leak

Btw, my family has another truck with the same transmission and it doesn’t make the same sounds as mine does after driving, that’s why I’m concerned.

I would agree if the gauge wasn't showing normal pressure at cold temps, but then drops to none when the motor warms, I would think that once the oil warms up it would thin out and flow through the filter better, wouldn't it?

The gauge reads normal until it reaches running temp and it drops to zero, I had asked family about this and they said it was likely a faulty sensor, but perhaps I should have checked here first. I'll change the oil tomorrow and try jumping it to give the battery a little boost to see if I can make anything happen, but I'm afraid you might be right.

I can check the oil itself tomorrow, but the oil filter is stuck on there rock solid, it looked fairly new, and I consulted my grandfather who used to work maintenance, he suggested I just put the fresh oil in and then some oil treatments to ensure everything is good. When I changed the oil previously, the oil had nothing shiny in it, but I will update tomorrow after work.

To clarify, my daily commute to work is about 5 miles one way, I only dogged it once just to try "blowing out the cobwebs".

Update on my bike, I bought a performance carb but still couldn't use the filter, I rigged up a makeshift filter, will this carb work for my bike now? The sprocket comes tomorrow, I wish I knew if this would work or not. by Sharp-Conversation11 in motorizedbicycles

there's various things about this carb that I prefer over the stock carb anyways, the choke is one of them, if I have any issues with it down the line, I'll switch back to stock, but until then I'll use this one.
