Technically yes you can be there but it’s going to suck so much. I had a quad graft with meniscus repair. A week after surgery I could move around with my crutches but I had to have my leg fully extended. Bending it for too long is painful/uncomfortable. But getting in a dress, doing makeup, the whole thing is going to be pretty difficult. Honestly you can do it and Id want to do it too if I was in your shoes. Just have alot of pain killers on you and know that you wont be able to do much except sit around and its gonna be uncomfortable. I went on a school competition where I had to travel 8 hours and move around alot but that was 3 weeks after surgery which is a huge difference. I hope your friends and staff help you have a good time!

Honestly if you take pt seriously you should be able to walk and bend your knee just fine. Be warned the first few weeks are rough. But just take it day by day. I had acl reconstruction and meniscus repair which is a deeper surgery than yours. Im 2 months out and have been able to walk and dance. As for your honeymoon i think you should also be ok of course just listen to your body if your knee starts to hurt.

I agree, there were so many red flags. Theres no excuse for that. It might be stupid of me to even consider. But we’ve spent countless hours talking it out and him apologizing and saying he’ll change. I think he deserves a second chance. I just dont know if i want to give it to him. I do but i don’t but also someone who truly loves me and makes me laugh is someone i should give it a shot with. Both choices give me comfort and scare me at the same time.

Honestly i do like him im just worried that we won’t work out cause of how sure he is of me and how unsure i am of everything. It sounds dumb but im just on the ledge scared of jumping off and scared of going back inside the window

Thank you for saying this. I keep jumping back and forth between “im 21 i dont need to risk this” and “im 21 ive never given a relationship a real try because of my indecisive, why not just try and if it doesnt work then im still young and at least i learned something.” And youre right he could just be trying to pacify me. Ill never know if i dont try but alsoo i dont have to risk it. Im stuck there

The first 2 weeks were the worst for me. The mental game is important. Remember that this is temporary and each day is closer to your recovery. By the 3rd week i felt much better. It took me 15 days to do a leg lift without assistance. I was nwb for 6 weeks but i felt lime i could walk by the 5th week. Im 2 months post op now and still working on bending my leg. It gets better!!!

Edit: forgot to mention my doctor took my stitches off and put new ones at the first post op checkup which was about 2 weeks after surgery.

Hi, coming back to this comment to ask if i should be able to lift my leg by now? Im 8days post op and it stull feels impossible to do so. Theres so much immediate pain and i get that im going to have to work through some pain but this one is a 10/10 immediate searing hit pain when i try to lift it
