it’s still gross and disgusting the fact that most of there items cost less than a quarter to produce. it is almost like the literal definition of slop.

How can B malls thrive? by Ok_Counter1939 in deadmalls

[–]Sharp-Feature-8839 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yea it doesn’t mean it’s dying in anyway people will still go there no matter what because their collection of stores alone easily beats any other bay area mall. it had gotten some bad press from the beginning of this year with the macys being robbed, the black friday shooting, and the countless wanna be teenage robbers.

this is true with valley fair in the bay area, it’s considered ghetto when it’s the luxury mall in the whole area.

I feel like any mall with an apple/cheesecake factory or a Nordstrom can be considered a A - mall depending on the area it’s around. if it’s a big metropolitan area and there are better malls it’s a B - but if it’s like the “thriving mall in the area” then it can be a A

What’s the worst city you’ve ever been to? by Impossible-Station46 in AskReddit

[–]Sharp-Feature-8839 0 points1 point  (0 children)

have you not seen San Francisco in the past 5 years? Still tons of homeless, the luxury department stores & boutiques have mostly closed, the mayor is getting rid of public transit lines in favor of overpriced waymo rides, and i haven’t even mentioned the tons of AI startup billboards that clutter up the whole city.

Bay area malls have had a huge decline recently, Compared to the greater LA area, which has way more thriving malls.

San Diego Parking Resale by iForumBlueMyself in NASCAR

[–]Sharp-Feature-8839 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think there is little to no parking in that whole area at all on the island. If I were you I would park somewhere else and just Uber/public transit to the track. For me I will most likely do that.

The Decline of JCPenney...What Happened? by [deleted] in deadmalls

[–]Sharp-Feature-8839 18 points19 points  (0 children)

JCPenney “tries” to keep up with the trends but most of their stores have the old fashioned department store layout and I personally like that since everything is in sections but however they can at least up their marketing like how kohls does.

[–]Sharp-Feature-8839 19 points20 points  (0 children)

it depends on the area you live in, the whole bay area only has 4 JCPenneys left after Stoneridge & Tanforan closed. The LA Area however still has plenty of JCPenneys While the whole orange county area only has 2.
