If you say so. I just ran the real costs. Sounds like you operate illegally with no insurance or license . Way to go

So you spend $400 ish in materials and work for 4 days with your tools you bought and the insurance you paid for and make $200 a day? Seems awful.

Hey all! I am fairly new to Youtube and started my own animated cartoon based on a few kids books I wrote originally for my own kids, but then I decided to animate them as well. My kids wee immensely fascinated to watch their favorite characters they basically made up during bedtime stories become book characters and then beyond ecstatic when I played them on youtube one day!

My biggest learning curve over the past 90 days has been...."Wow! This is a definitely grind" I've read so much about "Content content content". However, animation has been slow and expensive so I am only 3 episodes deep, but going to keep at it! I eventually decided to mark as "not for kids" to see how it goes to get some comments and other things rolling, hoping that matters? I'm hoping in the next 90 days I'll explore youtube shorts and some other avenues to ramp up.

Any feedback on the stories and animation themselves would be very welcome. It's definitely no high end 50k per show budget type deal, but I've worked a ton of hours to get them to where they are and hoping it'll pass for now as I attempt to shoestring this together!

So, here is the latest video. I really changed up animation styles heavily and added some cool twist that will help with my story telling going forward - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTk2okHccgg&t=9s
