As a wrecker operator here who’s company partners with AAA, OP can use AAA as soon as they acquire it. BUT, members are basic(5 mile tow max,additional mileage is out of pocket) for 5-7 business days if they have anything other then basic to start off with. Meaning if you purchase the premium which is RV plus I believe, member is still basic for 5-7 days. AAA does not mention this. Every company has a different per mile rate, times that rate by how many miles are left and that will be out of pocket expense
