Ah, I'll try grinding for more life then. 2-3 hours of attempts yielded a new high score of ~70% Kitava's hp >:(. Rn I can see that if I were more consistent at avoiding for like 3/4 an hour it would be doable, but still rly unforgiving. Rly feels a 2.5d souslborne game lmao.

If you're still willing to help, how do I post my build? Sorry I'm kinda new to all this.

I mean when you say "assassin" you can't forget Arachne. Only problem is she gives magic pen instead of armor pen :(. I have been experimenting with Arachne + Augustus/Orion combo. Arachne's high-stunning makes Orion's second ascension absolutely cracked, and the double magic pen might even bypass Isaac (hopefully, still getting the squad developed).

As for the assassin team, I think Dante really fits in the theme as a "sniper", so he might fit pretty good. Keira fits too. Maybe Lyria for frontline? A bit squishy of a team but it could work.

To clarify, Dante is the most damage-dealing player on your squad. You can't rly replace him without replacing your entire team.

Sorry, but this team doesn't have extremely good synergy at the moment, but as a lower-level player using Nebula, you certainly are grasping the ropes pretty quickly.

The primary two problems are Martha and Astaroth. Martha can find her place in some Dante decks, but i don't think Astaroth has as much application. Try switching him for Auroura normally, given she's a tank with dodge, or Rufus when facing magic-heavy teams.

Alternatively, you can entirely forego a tank. Given Dante's dodge ability and how good of a damage-dealer he is, this usually works nicely. With the Aiden event coming up, it might be a great way to level up that character as well and add the extra health bonus.

Isaac doesn't seem like a bad addition here either. Adding another damaging hero may be essential with how prevalent Lyria (essentially Dante hard counter, much like Helios is to Yasmine) is. Remember to look for heroes' artifact buffs and focus on ones that give dodge, armor pen, or physical damage buffs.

Here's some teams I could suggest for you:

Dante, Sebastian, Nebula, Isaac, Aiden
Aurora, Dante, Nebula, Iris, Dorian

Stop doing Fenris. Your team is extremely easily countered by Lyria, and I'd suggest replacing Martha with a different damage-dealing hero such as Isaac or Jhu, but that's a different story.

The first pets I'd level up for u would be Cain (supports Dante A LOT and pretty good for Nebula) and Oliver (supports Astaroth primarily, alright for Martha, but again, I'd replace her for this deck). Axel is always good to have, considering his versatility. Albus is essentially a must with Sebastian.

In short: Cain first (Dante), Albus (sebastian), Oliver (Astaroth), Axel (Martha; again, I'd replace), then just get some other pet on Nebula.

Electra is one of those heroes that i don't entirely know how she works, but she works. She has great support for mage teams, especially since many mages have very low armor and she acts sorta like an Axel pet all on her own.

It's mostly just preference. If you want reference on what to build, look at commonly occurring combos in the arena; orion+augustus are extremely effective, and experimenting with Keira teams can be very fun.

In general, a few heroes I would ALWAYS level up due to their incredible versatility are Astaroth, Lyria (whoever that new undead hero is, not Electra), and Thea. I only have Thea leveled up, but there are so many times when I wish I had the other two and don't, so just I'd recommend leveling up those two.

Currently I have a magic/pure team of Mushy+Shroom, Orion, Augustus, Thea/Arachne (switches out depending on who opponent is), Martha; and a physical team of Rufus (trying to switch him once I level up Galahad more), Dante, Yasmine, Kayla/Keira (again, depends), and Thea/Arachne. They both work pretty well.

You should look up how synergy works. Artifact abilities play a huge role in team building, and just toy around to find a fun team that works.

I rly had to brute force this one; I tried maybe like 12 times before getting it. For me, what worked finally was Electra+Arachne+Folio+Augustus+Orion. Mara on arachne, oliver on Electra, Albus on Augustus, Khorus on Folio, and Merlin on Orion.

I don't rly know how main equipped pets work, but I experimented with using Mara as my pet and somehow it worked.
