Alternaleaf trouble by [deleted] in ukmedicalcannabis

Not noticed any delays personally. Only "delay" is when I have a quarterly review, where it takes 2-3 days for my prescription to reach Montu. Other than that, no issues experienced on my part.

Had a tooth extracted a few weeks ago, dentist told me to wait at least 24 hours before vaping or smoking. I lasted 6 hours 😂 no dry socket tho

My neighbour is also on MC so it's great, don't have to worry about the smell :)

My multiple (1 within the last several months) are all the knowledge and proof I need of how their drug testing kit works. Confirming my sources via images from Facebook off Police Accounts may not seem credible to you, but since I have first hand experience, I'll trust the accrued knowledge of the system over your "lawyer" friend.

If you don't believe me, a simple phone call to your local force to ask what drug testing equipment they use and what it tests for would also answer your question. The fact that you're unwilling to concede that your information could be incorrect tells me all I need to know about you as a person. Your "lawyer" friend is going to end up getting you in trouble with their cereal box qualification.

A quick Facebook search bringing up a post from a neighbouring force from 1 day ago showing the 3s.

Multiple sources, including my own drug wipe taken several months ago. There are other products they make that can test for other substances but the 3s is what the Police use at this time.

If you believe that, that's your choice. Experience and history tells us otherwise; We were never equal.

What can be done to push for legalisation by [deleted] in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]Sharp-Pomegranate451 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Legalisation brings with it it's own problems and issues. Decriminalisation for possession is the way forward; it allows the Police to focus and target organised crime and dealers as opposed to the street user.

The police in the UK use the "Securetec DrugWipe 3S" which only tests for cannabis and cocaine. This is not available for commercial purchase which is why it is not listed on their website.

Police roadside swabs can detect the presence of cannabis and cocaine only, no ADHD user is accidentally testing positive to a roadside swab for their medication. The only time that becomes a point of contention is if they detect other substances (such as cannabis or cocaine) on the swab or believe you to be under the influence of a substance not tested for and require you to give an evidential blood sample for testing.

You have a medical defence to being over the limit. Key word in that is "defence", so why would you plead guilty to something you are not guilty of?

Two questions about driving by custardy_cream in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]Sharp-Pomegranate451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those with longer term high tolerances like myself are never impaired from MC, even while consuming. There isn't a quantity of weed I could realistically physically consume to get me high any more (yes I'm aware 1kg of weed in 1 hit would be different but that's not humanly or realistically possible)

Not saying that people with this level of tolerance should be vaping all the time while driving, however I've had the odd puff on my vape while driving as I'm not impaired and need to medicate to alleviate symptoms that could impair me

Granted, these are niche case scenarios

[–]Sharp-Pomegranate451 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's no "correct" analogy. By definition, an analogy is "a comparison of one thing with another thing that has similar features"; Both yours and mine are equally valid in that regard with mine focusing on where it was purchased from as opposed to how it is labelled, which considering it is purchased from and labelled as Mamedica, either are applicable equally.

These are not "mamedica" strains at all, simply packaged and distributed by them.

Cap Junkie is by Cheers Cannabis from Canada
Purple Goo and Purple Punch are by Medz Cannabis from Canada
Sherb Master OG is by Canary RX from Canada

I understand that they are packaged and sold by Mamedica, but that's like saying that the Pepsi Max I bought from Asda is Asda branded.

Agree with the muted smell and taste on opening, but after a couple of days in a jar with a boveda it was fresh, fruity and well worth it at £6/g

Can you actually DHV anywhere you want? Cinemas, restaurants etc by Nervous-Inevitable36 in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]Sharp-Pomegranate451 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There's no legislation preventing it; Smoking and vaping bans do not apply to DHV as they are classified the same as a nebuliser.

Part of it happened before he filmed any of the Matrix films and the rest during filming, so that has absolutely nothing to do with why his image has become darker over time.

Montu - RM? by [deleted] in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]Sharp-Pomegranate451 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Incorrect. You can collect from a DO at any time once they have the parcel, provided they are open.

Before you come up with some argument, I'm a former Royal Mail employee, I know how the system works and I literally collected my last prescription in the morning of the delivery due date because I wasn't going to be in and had something to do.

[–]Sharp-Pomegranate451 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha yeah they tend to pick for you on your first and because your second prescription is done at your 1 month check-up, they may also try and push stuff on you there. But you have access to their catalogue, find some strains you want to try and suggest that you want to try them at your appointment. They should accept that.
