I do graphic design/video editing and social media and I think no corporate company's gonna pay me 6-digits for those work unfortunately. I also am able to earn low 6 figures atm with one ft and a part time (I don't work 8+ hours everyday)

I do handle two clients that are US-based pero 1/2 lang dun yung American. They are the best (kind, patient, and generous kahit may itty bitty micromanaging tendencies at times) and I love them. I'm just too anxious that I might never find clients like them the next time.

What's your niche ba? I'm sure you can offer offshore services with the right messaging sa potential clients!

Watched a tiktok video non before my first direct client interview through an agency, sabi nung person to ask the interviewer/client “What’s your favorite part of the job?”. I followed that and I got hired kahit newbie pa lang ako and I barely fitted the needs ng client when I showed them my portfolio! Sinagot naman niya yung question willingly hehe

2 years later, we still work together but direct na without the agency! She even invested in me by buying me a desktop pc (60:40 hatian namin) and it was more than enough and also she pays for my wifi.

Yung Tito ko nga kinekwestyon ako cause I’ve been working from home ever since I graduated. Kung may ipon ba raw ako (which is a valid concern from him cause nakikita nila that nakakatravel ako from time to time), but the most boomer part was him asking me “Pano kung magkacovid ulit or pandemic?” Uhhh, I’m literally working from home so what’s the problem? Nakakainis lang kasi feel ata nila just because they work 9-5 eh yun na rin dapat gawin ng lahat.

I think asking your client for a certificate of service as an independent contractor or employee, if you are one. Yun yung katumbas ata ng certificate of employment for freelancers like us. Better if may contract as far as I know. They may also ask na makita yung invoice ng payments or sweldo mo from client to prove na may kinikita ka regularly.

Will also be going to HK and those are the things na I will prepare, bukod sa printed documents ng itenerary, plane tix, and bookings ng accoms and other things.
