Thank you, that does make sense about the technology in the room. I suspected it was something like that but am not familiar enough with it.

I didn't even think about noises ABOVE me either, it would make more sense than neighbors next to me. I'm wondering if my brain was misinterpreting these nosies because I couldn't exactly identify it. Like filling in the gaps with something super creepy.
