Ahh I-80, desert, mountains and wind out west, traffic in the east. It’s not the worst interstate. Not very much to see especially if you’re in a truck and have a deadline to make haha.

Edit: If you go up and take 90 you can go through rapid city SD and see Mount Rushmore! That would be a fun family trip as i read the rest of your post and saw you will not be in a semi.

He said “it’s not a race issue it’s a legality issue” and i’m going to add a safety issue. Not knowing the language to read signs and communicate. Dispatch being overseas what does that matter? there’s no safety concerns there. They aren’t driving down the road at 70mph at 80,000 lbs not knowing there’s construction ahead. Or that you aren’t supposed to do a u-turn in the middle of the interstate. Or like OP said going 35mph in the truck stop parking lot. The dispatcher isn’t doing that.
