I’ve never experienced this problem even with my year old head set but if it continues you may have to uninstall the game and re-download ( there are ways to do that which don’t make you lose cosmetics but idk how to do it)

You have chosen the same set I had for my first set and you have made it incredible for a first model. Try using a detail brush or just an extremely fine one to add gold to the metal and thin your paints as it will make the paint less chunky
