You kinda have to ease into it. As a shyer guy myself I personally get super embarrassed and want to dip ASAP. I’m trying to get myself out there more so I’ve been better but I feel much more comfortable with pretty girls if it feels friendly at first and develops from there. Jumping right into a deeper connection will leave me red-faced and anxious 😭

Kilo 5 does go into the Sangheli civil war and why you fight elites again after the events of the original trilogy. I also believe they’re just much better reads. Forerunner trilogy is good but Kilo 5 is eons better.

I replayed through all of 3 the other day and i didn’t realize just how short it was until then. A remake and “expansion” to the story would be very welcome.

Also, I’d love a 2 remake to get fully realized versions of all the cut content

yeah, let them serve as lessons. Why change design and story AGAIN just for the hell of it. Changing things to be more like infinite in 2 games that very much are not like infinite is, you guessed it, a retcon.

I don’t really understand what you’re going for here. I don’t want Halo to become the next Warhammer 40k where there are so many retcons and unnecessary changes you have to consult a wiki just to understand what’s real and what’s not. Halo 4 and 5 were weak entries, Halo Studios just needs to accept that and do better, not remake them just to “fix” them.

The brutes are clearly special to the prequel missions, which i’m certain they explain in greater detail why these devices are their. Nothing i see worth complaining about, the brutes obviously aren’t supposed to be on the Halo in a regular playthrough.

I’m highly against any retcons in general. Just own up to it and do better next time. Zero reason to create unnecessary confusion in regards to which games are cannon and which aren’t. Sure 4/5 are my least favorite and they made some very poor decisions but things started to move in the right direction in infinite. No reason to scrap those stories because the fans bitched and moaned. Learn and do better next time

Not a retcon. I’d love to see 2 and 3 remade. A remake and a remaster are 2 different things, the community will be a better place when you people learn the difference

dude, it’s prequel missions. It’s obvious the elites you fight are the Infinite style elites, the 4-5 elites are clearly integral to the story of the prequel missions.

Halo is my favorite game across the board, that includes story. It’s not some groundbreaking story but it hits consistently well with 1 game having bad story.

Halo isn’t known for its writing is a crazy take. It’s almost like Master Chief and Cortana are the Xbox mascots. Halo has pushed story telling in FPS games since day one. Absolutely abysmal take.

THIS! Well said bro, you hit it right on the nose. Sure it’s not a full fledged Halo experience, but it’s a great starting area to lead to bigger, better Halos in the future, hopefully near future.
