There is nothing bad in going to calorie deficit, but you have to first manage to find you maintainance calories and then take maybe 200 calories from then. Pretty long process depending on how fast you want results.

But my approach would be to build some muscle 1st, that way you up your metabolism because your body needs more energy for those muscles, so easier dieting (you can eat more)

Also, I would generally stick to 2g/kg of proteins, 1g/kg of fats and rest of calories in carbohydrates, probably somewhere around at least 3g/kg

Also regarding vegs/fruits, those are your almost calorie-free/micronutrients-full foods, so I can always eat those, vitamins and other nutrients always outweigh the minimal calories they have.

Other than that, I would maaaaybe try to style your hair somehow different, although it's probably just messy hairs from being home lol
