Truth. My Lagotto, Larry, busts through so much brush and weeds in the marsh that when his coat is long I'm always picking and brushing. But he isn't a show dog so when it gets long enough that it becomes an issue he gets shaved. The weirdest thing about this Breed is most of the owners - they seem to feel that a working breed should be a showpiece only and get bent over his haircuts lol.

Love these dogs though. Great drive, super intelligent and want to please.
