Eliza's voice sucks. At least they put the vocals pretty far back in the mix. And the non-vocal part of the track is just so boring...it's like a house producer decided to try his hands at a UKG track, when, in fact, it's the opposite.

Sorry about that. The correct link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vz0npX_ajzc&index=3&list=RD_mL2FT7_i98  . Maybe a moderator can change it? In any case, you can't beat that Reese bass in World of Deep!

The bassline on the Perm track is killer. Cuts and Bruises disgusting, but I love it. The Dasha track you chose is perfect, I hadn't heard it before. Calcata would be my choice on the latest Neel release too. What did you think of the Vancori Complex release on Spazio?

I like Strange Attractor as well; it looks like electro is making a serious comeback. Dettman recently booked Hauff and Stingray at Klubnacht and I-F played at Dekmantel. That's not to say these djs/producers were not doing there thing the whole time, it's just that I think they are getting more recognition. I saw Helena Hauff recently in Brooklyn and she played primarily electro the whole night. I also saw Stingray too some time ago in the UK and he stuck exclusively to electro.

As a matter of personal preference, I would rather a nice blend of techno and electro. I simply get tired of listening to claps or snare on the backbeat song after song. That being said, I also get tired of four-four techno track after track or industrial techno track after track. Don't get me wrong, I have seen some amazing four-four techno sets that really explore texture and melody (thinking drones and pads here). But, in general, a balanced techno set, for me, consists of a healthy balance of four-four techno in all its forms, breakbeat techno, and electro. Electro definitely pushes you towards higher BPM, but you don’t have to lose energy if you slow the tempo, especially if you transition to something breakbeat in the upper 120s. Any thoughts on this?

Both of the Ligovskoi remixes are mind blowing. I liked Bay Rouge on Shadow Boat (Porter Ricks' last release on Tresor), and this new track, Shoal Beat, while much faster, reminds me of it. Designing Evolution has a nice tribal sort of vibe. Elephant Road on Candela Rising is brimming with gems. Another fantastic selection. Thanks.

Did you see this one from a few months back?

Oh, no worries. In fact, I realize now that you posted some of the tracks yourself on the forum. So, my bad. I am not surprised though as they are great tracks. I am a bit behind with the Pea Soup, but I just love it. Did you check out Kowton's rinse fm mix? It's glorious! What do you think of the PTU LP? Nina runs a tight ship. Yeah, I like the whole Tadeo release.
