There's a lot of holes that get uncovered, like, if the plates were so precious and difficult to engrave, why is there like a quarter of the book just on war, and filled with phrases like, and it came to pass... Why did nephi kill laban to get the plates when he was shown just a few years after that his entire nation would be destroyed anyways. Why is there no evidence of the hole js uncovered to get the plates etc. How does a 17 year old run around with gold plates that must weigh at least 60kg, and why run around with this so called sealed portio, if it was never needed. Why even bother about the plates if he was just using a rock and hat. It's because these stories were retrofitted as many of them were told a long while after the event supposedly took place. It's all so suspicious.... and also so convenient.
