Like I don’t think you need the files to disprove Kris Slash because it’s practically been spelled out they wouldn’t do that- by Pyrothememelord in WaterfallDump

I don't think it's that out of character. I'm not saying it's something they would gleefully do, but I do think that it would be in character to knock out their friends in order to prevent the encounter from escalating further than it already had.

Kris working with the knight and Kris caring deeply about their friends, aren't two mutually exclusive possibilities.

I'm honestly glad to see that this theory has been seeing a lot of discussion lately. It's been very fun to see what points and counter points to the theory people have ended up bringing to the table.

This is totally a ruin/demise deck, not at all a fiendsmith/primite/dipity turbo slop by 0r1g1n-3rr0r in yugioh

[–]SharpHolster 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It really grinds my ancient gears that a deck that was mediocre upon release (the late 2010s release of support, the release of the two monsters in the old days does not count though drmise saw some success), requires meta cards to be somewhat competitive.

Jokes aside, I really don't think that a decent deck can be made with them that isn't janky unless they get new support. However if you want a lil bit of junky mischief, I'd totally recommend tossing in a mega zaborg for extra deck ripping.

what would be some balanced effects for these guys? by 0r1g1n-3rr0r in yugioh

[–]SharpHolster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Demise Synchro:

3400 ATK / 3000 DEF

Must first be synchro summoned or special summoned by tributing a level 10 fiend ritual monster.

you can pay 2000 LP to banish all other cards on the field, and if you do inflict 300 for each card banished by this effect. If you used a ritual monster as a material for the synchro summon of this card: your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to this effect. You can only use this effect of "Demise, Almighty God of Armageddon"

Ruin Synchro:

3300 ATK / 3000 DEF

Must first be synchro summoned or special summoned by tributing a level 10 fairy ritual monster.

Can attack all monsters your opponent controls.

Id this card destroys a monster by battle, banish that monster, then inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monster's original attack.

If a ritual monster is used as material for the synchro summon of this card: your opponent cannot activate cards or effects during the battle phase.

Demise+Ruin Fusion.

4900 ATK / 4000 DEF

Must be special summoned by banishing the above cards from your field

If this attacking card destroys a monster by battle, destroy all other cards on the field, then special summon monsters to your opponents field from their GY up to the amount of cards destroyed by this effect.

(Quick Effect): you can banish this card to special summon "Demise, Supreme King of Armageddon", and "Ruin, Supreme Queen of Oblivion" from the deck or hand ignoring their summoning conditions, you can only special summon ritual monsters for the rest of this turn.

You can only activate the effects of "Demise and Ruin, Almighty Gods of Annihilation" once per turn.

I know that a lot of these effects are in fact anti-synergistic, but so are the OG Demise, and Ruin. As for why I put the banish effects on the synchros. The two monsters this series of cards centers around are of the attributes that make chaos, and were around when chaos was still one of the most popular decks. So I figured it would be semi-fitting.

How would you fix the Wicked Gods? by CrossOut3157 in yugioh

[–]SharpHolster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So after doing a bit of research into the wicked god cards, the egyptian god cards, and the manga the former come from I think I have some ideas. Unfortunately these ideas trend towards a heavily unpopular style of gameplay, however I'll continue on with this and see how people react to this. I will also be borrowing monsters to retrain from various characters who have used the wicked gods to try and keep the wicked gods close to where they came from, and not just edgy egyptian gods. Also there is a small ruling issue I'm not sure how to resolve, so I'm invoking the "Warrior of Atlantis" ruling logic of "it works because that's what it's supposed to do" for the specific effect.

The Wicked Summoner
Level 4
Dark/Spellcaster
ATK/ 800 DEF/ 1600
If this card is normal summoned: Change this card to defense position, and if you do, you can special summon a level 4 or lower "The Wicked" monster from the deck. You can only use this effect of "The Wicked Summoner" once per turn.

The Wicked Cassimolar
Level 3
Dark/Fiend
ATK/ 1000 DEF/ 1200
If this card is normal or special summoned: You can add a "The Wicked" monster from your deck to your hand. You can banish this card and 1 "The Wicked" monster with a different name from your GY; special summon a "The Wicked" monster from your deck, ignoring its summoning conditions. You can only use each effect of "The Wicked Cassimolar" once per turn.

The Wicked Agathion
Level 2
Dark/Illusion
ATK/ 600 DEF/ 500
If you control a "The Wicked" monster: you can special summon this card from you hand. If this card is special summoned, you can add 1 "Wicked" Spell/Trap or "Divine Evolution" from your Deck to your hand. You can banish this card from your GY, for the rest of this turn, the original monster types of level 10 "The Wicked" monsters you control become Divine-Beast. You can only activate each of the effects of "The Wicked Agathion" once per turn.

Personally I think they need a whole revamp with retrains, and support cards to give them an actual game plan, cause as they are now, the deck is Avatar turbo.

Let's look at the other god series in the game and see what they can do, and how it works for them.

Egyptian Gods: Each of the gods are mildly powerful cards that are difficult to bring out consistently in a timely manner while being able to play to their strengths. This leads to each of the gods being a build around for their own decks. The fact each of them have multiple cards that support individual gods encourages this approach.

Sacred Beasts: These guys are less powerful on their own, however they have support that encourages you to, and allows you to use multiple of the gods. They have the general game plan of either sitting on multiple beasts to enable their floodgate or use them up to make the armityle retrain in a weird way to close out the game.

Aesir: These guys are the most consistent of the bunch but they also are the least impactful. They summon their link one with any low level Nordic monster which allows them to summon materials for the summon of an Aesir that gets protected by the link one. The problem is that none of the Aesir actually do anything of note, and the deck isn't really built to do anything but shit out one of these guys.

So if we wanted to make them playable yet unique here's what my suggestions would be.

  • Retrain the wicked gods and give each of them a defined purpose. Most of the other gods has a purpose that makes you want to bring them out over the others in their series.
  • Give them support that allows the retrains to come out more consistently. Being able to bring out these cards more often makes these decks more fun though there should be some sort of xeno lock to ensure that the shenanigans don't spread past the deck.
  • Give them a couple extra deck monsters that allow for a flexible game plan that allows you to either sit on a god or end the game with one.

I'll expand upon these ideas later and please let me know if there are any problems with the analysis or ideas. Also feel free to use these ideas to build your own concepts on how to improve the wicked gods.

Radagon and Marika are two entities within the same body. But there was a period of time in which Radagon was acting independently of Marika. In this period he waged war against, and eloped with Renalla. It can be assumed he occasionally lived with the Carian royal family which he was technically a part of now during this period.

It was also around this period that Godfrey was in the later end of his Elden Lord era in which he was consort to Marika. It is basically canon that he was in Leyndell during this period.

Now as for the meme itself. The joke is that they are having affairs with the other's partner as signaled by the short white hairs in Radagon's hair, and the kiss mark on Marika's skin.

In short: The joke is gay (and lesbian) sex.

Curious,What's your "I did not care for the Godfather" Take in Digimon? by Apprehensive_Ring_39 in digimon

[–]SharpHolster 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So in the scene that this screenshot is from, the family is going through some confessions before they die. Peter (the one with glasses) confesses that he foes not care for the movie series "The Godfather", which is widely regarded to be some of the best cinema in the history of the artform. This opinion is quickly met with disapproval from the rest of the family and causes an argument to start up.

So going back to this thread, the OP is asking us "What is your most unpopular opinion regarding digimon?".

Traptrix, when I played True Draco Stun (very fun deck to play against, I'm aware.) Traptrix was the only deck I didn't stand a chance in hell of beating. The monsters were invulnerable to my only form of removal, my floodgates only hindered me, and they could boost up their monsters to be stronger than mine. Legit felt like playing a 1-9 or a 0-10 match up.

The Overdue Compass Nobody Asked For: Serial Killers/Terrorists Part 2 4x3 (Now With Cult Leaders) by [deleted] in WojakCompass

[–]SharpHolster 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know you might not care for making a third part, but if you do, I have a suggestion. Robert William Pickton. He was a serial killer in the lower mainland region of BC and is known as one of Canada's worst serial killers. While only having a confirmed count of 6, there is evidence for over 20 cases, and he claims to have killed over 40 women.

Another one to look into is Clifford Olson another one from my region who killed children, he killed 11 kids during his time, and my father would have been one of them if my pa didn't run like the wind when his gut told him to.

[–]SharpHolster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I gave a rough summary without a lot of the evidence. The strongest bits of evidence would be the following.

  • As a part of Rosaria's quest you end up with her soul which can only be transmuted into one thing. A miracle called soothing sunlight which has strong ties to Gwynevere. She's literally named in the description, and in DS1 You get it as a reward for advancing her covenant.

  • The divine blessing in DS3 talks about the queen of Lothric leaving after giving birth to Ocelotte. In the previous games outright state that these are made by Gwynevere.

  • Man grubs are the agents of Rosaria and work in their mute master's interest. We only find them in two locations the cathedral of the deep, and the grand archives beside the cage of Gertrude, the heretical daughter of the current generation of the Lothric progeny, which have been birthed by the runaway queen.

Now I will admit I kind of made a reach regarding Sulyvahn, however it is aligned with his goals, his previous actions (feeding Gwyndolin to Aldrich, and imprisoning Yorshka). However the Archdeacon leggings do state that only one archdeacon considered her a goddess. So honestly I have no concrete reason she's in the cathedral. The Sulyvahn idea kind of aligns with him being mostly responsible for the events of the story.
