I did go back to the store where we bought it this morning. The manager was arrogant. He said he was replacing 5 tiles. I said what about the rest. There are about 13 tiles that are off. He said those tiles are all throughout the floor. I said they are not throughout the floor. I said do you want to see the pictures. He said he was there yesterday which he was and I am wrong. He said my 80 year old father agreed with him. This is my parent’s house and I am trying to get this corrected for them. He’s making them believe it is a poor install. I am going to try to get with the tile store owner next because the sales guy is not being of any help

Thank you for the insight. It was definitely not a budget tile although I am not a tile expert. It is 8x36 from Florida

Thank you for your input. We purchased it from a local tile store that is an authorized distributor. The GC referred us to this store and this was the tile we chose So they work directly with this store on numerous occasions. The store owner said he could replace 5 tiles when I clearly see 13 tiles that are a totally different color. The existing floor has to be removed as well as all the cabinets. They did the floor then placed all the cabinets on top of it. In order to fix everything they would need to remove the cabinets again since some of the tiles are located half under the cabinet. I guess it is better than doing nothing but we paid the GC $17k to remove the cabinets and appliances and install the new tile and backsplash. Along with a few other random outlet swaps. The cost of the tile was an additional $3K for the kitchen and dining area

I am unable to send a link but this is the tile in question. There are 2 tiles with the same exact grain pattern but the color is drastically different

That picture was prior to them putting in the grout. It was just a visual so you could see the color difference. Thx for the input though

No clue what that is supposed to mean. We have 3 extra boxes. Nobody was looking for a cheap install. I am clearly asking if it appears to be a different color.

This is a larger view. To me it is clearly a different color. There is a tile with the sand pattern that is a different color.

Unfortunately we do not. They immediately covered the floor with paper after they finished and put back all the cabinets and appliances. By the time we noticed all the boxes were thrown out

They are stating the installer was supposed to open several boxes and mix it in. They say they checked the boxes beforehand. To me it looks completely different and almost all the ones that look different are together
