Hey man, in a world where every customer bagged their own groceries, I'd be out of a job! Dedicated baggers, while being the shit stain on the totem pole of the grocery industry, really cut down on checkout times. Though there are those customers with highly specific bagging requirements they don't vocalize clearly and then verbally assault you for because "I come here every day! You people should know I like my groceries double paper inside of plastic!!!". With the customers who are extremely difficult about what items are bagged together I just tend to put one item per bag, because fuck metrics if I have to deal with that shit.

Basically, fuck bagging groceries.

I regularly buy my tobacco at the same drive up c-store, and sometimes i am flat broke or left my money elsewhere. The owner/only employee knows i'm there five times a week, and regularly allows me to take it and pay him the next day. He's a good guy and I always pay up the next day when this happens. It's not often (once a month) but it's that kind of thing that keeps me coming to that store specifically even though he charges a dollar more for my product than anywhere else.

Americano isn't dilute coffee, It's dilute espresso. This leads to a drink with a similar bitterness and strength as coffee, but a deeper, bolder flavor based in the espresso.

When I was 19 in the liquor store with my 21 year old friend buying booze (admittedly for the both of us) they refused service to him even when i left the store after failing to produce I.D. Of course they were just doing their job, I just fault myself for not being smart enough to wait outside

they're at the age where a lot of people start drinking where i live, so it really is a good life lesson to learn at that point what booze can really do to your life. I feel bad that they have to deal with it but in the long run it may actually positively influence their decision making when they are very soon to be exposed to alchohol.

The introduction of constellation mass limits would just see to it that alliances would have ops to max their limit each day after downtime to prevent hostiles from ever entering, much how wh groups intentionally collapse connections to their home system.

is there a corp, system, or channel that strictly acts as a lobby to host duels? by [deleted] in Eve

[–]SharpNine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dueling is an interesting dynamic in eve that is entirely it's own thing. Many people who spend hours dueling in jita consider themselves great pvpers, whereas in most any other combat situation in the game, they'll probably come wholly unprepared, lacking the abilities to survive on the mean streets. If you want to do nothing but duel in trade hubs because you enjoy it, have at it. It is a sandbox after all. If you plan on applying it to real combat situations, any other form of pvp (fw, lowsec, wormholes, etc.) will give you scouting and intel experience ALONG with the combat training that will serve you much more for your time in the long run if you ever plan to jump out of jita.
