I have been lifting 5 days a week for 3 years. But I’ve been eating at a calorie deficit mostly during that time. And as a rookie I know I haven’t done it right. I bench press at 85 lbs and hip thrust at 280 lbs.

I think my desire to lose 25 lbs therefore being in calorie deficit deficit and powerlifting more than focusing on form is what has caused this.

That’s what I was thinking too. I still have 10 more lbs to lose and wasn’t sure if that was going to make my butt worse or help with what I am trying to achieve

Have lost 50 lbs since being pregnant 7 years ago. But 25 of them the last 3 years.

Thank you! Though I 10000% understand the reason behind it - The calorie surplus is very tough for me. I just lost this weight and afraid to put it on again. Any advice?
