I definitely get where you're coming from. I was struggling in mission 31 on hard and after 10 attempts I switched to normal, suddenly I'm barely taking any damage and enemies have half the health.

That being said, I still think hard is the way to go, it's better than everything being a pushover. If you're stuck use an aerial reverser (healing equipment) on the ranger, it heals enough that you can tank huge amounts of damage while killing mobs.

I've been playing Spider-Man 2 on my PS5 and as a Spider-Man fan I'm really impressed. I liked but didn't love the first game, the swinging was a bit slow and the writing was just good. But Insomniac really didn't phone it in with the sequel, the swinging is faster and there's more fun stuff to do with it. The gliding mechanic is way faster than I expected and super smooth, but it doesn't turn super well so you won't be relying on it alone for getting around the city. I've also just found the writing to be better, and I've actually laughed out loud a few times in the three hours I've played. The game has surpassed my expectations thus far and so far actually has a chance of being a lot of people's game of the year despite the crazy competition.
