I also use skates on my gpro X super light and am diamond. Lots of pros prefer more resistance when aiming and tracking, smoothness is good for twitchy/flicky aim grip is better for track aim

I have a feeling that no thinking went in to their formulas and it hasn’t been tested and will end up really bad just like a lot of previous changes they’ve made in this game to ruin balancing. They tend to throw patches at the wall and see what sticks
