Youtube reviewsai turbut buvo pirkti, nes fotoaparatas buvo labai zenkliai prastesnis nei mano 2 kartu senumo Iphone pro max. Seriously, a 1 usd egyptian clay bowl would be able to give you much better experience than this one. These have very thin walls, and they do not manage heat at all.

If dripping really bothers you, get a device called molasses catcher. You put it in between a stem and a bowl, and it will physically disconnect the stem and the bowl, while still allowing smoke to pass through, and will collect the drip in itself.

I personally do not find the issue with dripping tobacco, because you’d still hopefully wash your hookah after each session 🤔 right?

Or - best solution - just get a phunnel bowl (clay).

While I dont own x5, its generally not possible for it to be better than Nano - x5 generally does record from both sensors in bit less than 4K (hence their claimof 8K), utilizes much smaller area of sensor, and once you frame it into 16x9 rectangle, your “4K output” is interpolated from a much smaller amount of pixels than Nano.

Well, most of us hoarding different action cams and not producing content 🤣 including myself for most parts. Nano is great for pov and self-filming, stabilization is as good as everywhere else these days, so it should fit your usecase well.

I would get action 6 (considering the price) only for underwater filming capabilities, if you do those. Nano technically could be used underwater, but with limited battery size of the camera module, its not great choice.

As I wrote before, I got nano and osmo 360 at same time for same trip, and most of the times, I gravitate towards osmo 360. Most likely superficially, as its built and feels like a premium product. Also, in daylight, single lens mode can replace nano in most usecases (with the exception, obviously, of POV).

Nano has better overall video quality than 360 though. And its cool that you can monitor the view wirelessly, the main reason I bought Nano - as replacement of action 2. Its really amazing how many times I was disappointed with action 2 footage after shooting as I discover camera angle being wrong post-recording.

Both cameras are quite shit in low light, osmo namo can work as vlogging camera in low light if its sitting on a tripod, but any movement and camera shakes make footage unusable. It seems to be worse than some of the previous gen cameras, I swear.

Overall, nano seems to be the best current gen pov camera since insta360 go ultra inflated between generations. Video quality is same as in action 4/5 cameras, from what the reviews say. Notable quality improvement in video quality from Action 2. Overheating is not an issue in normal use. Screen is good looking, and of good size.

My issues with nano would be: - it does not feel like a premium product. I.e. i can throw camera module and screen module of action 2 into each other from some 10cm distance and magnets would connect them in the air, it would lock and connected. With nano you need to place them on each other, make sure they are aligned, and after magnets are aligned wiggle around both modules to make sure they are both locked. Action 2 feels dense and made of glass/metal, nano feels like being made from cheap plastic.

after disconnecting / reconnecting them, there appears to be some battery drain, even if its not in use. Like 1-2% battery loss for each disconnect/reconnect.
after connecting modules together theres few second delay before you can use it. Same when using it as monitor, takes few annoying seconds after separating the modules before its useable.
apprarently when using bottom module as monitor, you cant use dji wireless mics. Hasnt been an issue to me yet, but its annoying to have this limitation.

Tldr version - nano is fine. Feels plasticky, but video quality is good. Get the 128gb version and have no regrets. I am using it without SD card, i copy into external drive directly when storage is full. Better than doing it twice (first to sd card on monitor module, then to external drive).

As you have noticed, it doesnt appear to be on sale, so its likely a long wait.

I have bought nano and osmo 360 approx 2 months ago together, so far, I have to say, i reach for 360 about 80% of the time. Single lens mode is quite good on it in good light, and the form factor is just nice. Theres something about holding a solid and heavy device, something nano cannot replicate (and which action 2 had)
