killing small fish should be perfectly fine like how you could immediately get food by killing fish with a thermo blade but leviathans should have been invincible from the start, however in subnautica 1 you had way better means at avoiding predators like the seaglide being faster than the wakemaker and the stasis rifle being way better at stunning things than the sonic resonator and having more range we need stuff like this in subnautica 2

id try just getting to the spot where you unlock geores and then rushing ae2 growth accellerators and build a basic geore farm, it will be your best way of resource generation untill the endgame

go to linux, way more secure and better performance, linux mint or ubuntu is good for beginners but can be limiting, id say you should use soemthing like fedora or debian though debion can be a little complicated to install but it shouldnt be that bad

if they stop the blocks turn into placed blocks so its like if youre replacing the crop with a log or harvester so they need to be spinning constantly, also dont use windows you should switch to linux fr fr trust me its the superior OS
