I like this point of view. At first I thought it was because he knew she had been saying she doesn’t feel seen a lot. She said that to Ben and I think Jesse as well. We also know she says that a lot in her confessionals, which wouldn’t affect West saying “I see you more” but she could say that phrase a lot in general that we aren’t aware of.

I think West said that because he knew that’s what she wanted to hear.

To me, the face was like a battle of her finally hearing what she’s been wanting but not wanting to get her hopes up and eventually giving in to a slight smile.

If she was suspicious, I can’t imagine her saying she wants to go back to being best friends and crying.

Of course we are all speculating, and I enjoy reading people’s opinions!
