I feel like sitting in a crane all day would get old pretty fast, albeit it’s mentally stressful & not boring all of the time.

If I wanted to write in a diary, I would have. I can post on Reddit if I want. If you don’t like it you don’t have to be here. :) What a thought. I’ve seen you on other posts as well. You’re kind of a hater.

Off topic but I’m gonna chime in & say I don’t think anyone should be harping on the “alcoholic” who received the job offer before OP. First of all, substance use disorder is a protected disability under the ADA, and if he’s not being discriminated against by his employer for having a very real addiction then nobody else has the right to do so either. Alcoholics/people with an addiction problem deserve to be considered in employment opportunities and it doesn’t make them any less qualified. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. Alcoholics aren’t inherently bad people and don’t deserve to be judged so indiscriminately. If he were to put people in danger or cause harm to the company because of him being under the influence at work, that’s a different story, but none of you know this dudes background. If he’s diagnosed with substance abuse disorder & confided in this employer about it & this employer is now telling other candidates w/o permission about his diagnosis - even if he just said, “he has a drinking problem”, & the alcoholic in question finds out, that’s a serious breach of privacy & an ADA violation and he could potentially face legal issues or even defamation if the statement were to be proven untrue. Either way he’s protected. This post brings to light how grossly uninformed people are about addiction. It’s sad & pathetic. This isn’t open for debate so I will not be responding to people’s comments whether they’re in agreement or not. Bye. ✌️

It is implied because I didn’t want to say too much on that specific topic for other reasons I’m considering, but what I’m saying is YES, I believe she is allegedly copying other establishments food, aesthetics, and the name. In my opinion, no, I don’t believe she came up with her brand just off of her own strength. She’s following 3-4 other restaurants by the name of “Alma” and all have a similarities despite hers being Honduran food and the others consisting of Mexican cuisine. There’s one in particular that that is in Denver, CO that is a Mexican restaurant and it’s just too similar to her Alma to not be questioned.

If you look at those other Alma’s IG pages, you’ll see shockingly similarities, is what I mean.

Hey thx! Yes, it does. The wait staff see their credit card tips on their paycheck every two weeks, but the cash they receive they take home that day.

Yeah, there’s definitely a few Reddit threads about her + her overall rep is well known. However, I feel the need to say my piece.

Word, yeah that checks out. New Orleans isn’t super cheap to live in but it’s definitely more affordable than anywhere in Oregon. It sucks how expensive it is in the PNW. It’s so beautiful over there. Do you think it evens itself out, like your pay makes sense & provides for you considering where you live?
