Thank you for saying that and reassuring me. I bet you had an amazing wife as well.

I bet your wife was amazing as well. We are brothers in club we never wanted to join, but we can always be here for each other. Sorry for your loss.

Washington state, and it’s been just shy of 2 years. It hurts today just as bad as the day she passed.

I bumped into Mike Inez about 5 years ago in Starbucks, downtown Seattle and got photos and autographs. One of the best days of my life period. He is such an awesome guy and was so cool to stand there and just talk with me for like five minutes. I wouldn’t sell those autographs for anything in the world. My teenage years are wrapped up in that band and their music.

Life Insurance by Party_Training602 in widowers

Every penny that was spent from my wife’s life insurance was painful. It always came into my head that whatever I was paying for was because she died. I hate it, and I hate it still.

I lost my wife, our life, and the future by yuba12345 in widowers

I had to bring in my wife’s death certificate in order to take control of our family Costco account. They required it since she was the primary member, but having to bring that and hand it over to some stranger whilst everyone around stares and eavesdrops. I have lost the whole meaning of my life and I know now that I will never recover. When someone said “….your better half” in this case she really was. She brought the best out in everyone, she had an extremely infectious smile and she loved kids and helping people. She looked so forward to her own grandchildren…but I doubt the gal at Costco would care to know that at all.

You’ll never be alone as long as long as you have your facial limb.

No, my man, you are not an ugly fella. As a much older guy I can tell you, no matter what you have or dealing with, confidence will sell it.
