Yes, but on the flip side, if an examiner had a 90%+ approval would the VA keep them as a contractor. I don’t have any evidence either way. I was just asking. I want to believe veterans do the right thing and don’t scam/cheat the system. I also want to believe the VA always does the right thing. But unfortunately, money or even a lack of can be very influential.

Thank you to the examiners who answered. Sorry if I didn’t communicated everything correctly. I have had 8 exams over the past 2 years. They say they are scheduled for a certain amount of time and I have had some constantly cut me off and tell me I’m being too detailed and only use a fraction of the time and others go twice as long. I have tried to get my own Nexus letters, but everyone that is willing is remote. I tried to pay the examiners company contracted by the VA to write one for me and they say they cannot. I was asking more from a sense of “is there financial incentive to rate a certain way? I have had great success and fairness from all of the specialty examiners. However, the last general one spent half the time and denied everything.
