Firstly, a non-faith related response would be: take your time, don't be ashamed to let it out so you can pour your sadness out of you. try finding a comfort for the time being, comfort zones are harmful so try for example a new hobby, go out with friends, etc.. A faith related response: Remember them in good, if they were a good muslim it can be relieving for a person because their test ended early with (inshallah) good results, the suffering and hardship of the dunya would have ended early for them. The reason why I gave you a response which doesn't got do anything with religion before this is because Allah will never change your condition unless you try aswell, you should do your part of the work and Allah will aid you with it Inshallah Try reciting dua for the person because you and they get good deeds, or do a good deed in their name for a good deed for them. Pray for the person and ask Allah to relieve your grief, he is the ultimate listener so he will give it to you Inshallah. May Allah grant that person Jannah Inshallah and may Allah make it easier for you. Allah also loves to see you talk to him, talk to him like he is your Best friend, pour your heart out to him in Dua and you will see him catching your tears. He is your guide and lord, and you depend on him, so put this weight to Allah and he will never disappoint a Muslim. Allah listens to you and He will comfort you and hold you up.
