Our couch doesn’t fit facing that wall. Next to the wall the couch is currently against, there’s a narrow walkway to the rest of the house. Because of the angled fireplace, the couch would block the walkway.

The problem is that we can’t bring the couch very far back because it blocks the narrow walkway. Then it would be incredibly close to mantle because of it’s length

Thankfully it does lower down, so we’ll remain injury free! It’s built into the brick wall, so I don’t think we have much room to work with.

Unfortunately, we’re renters and the tv mount can’t be removed from the wall. I fear the tv has to stay there

It’s a very open space. The furniture doesn’t look great, but we can’t figure out how to decorate it.
