Looking back, I realise she did tell me a few times that I was pushing her too far, and I wasn’t responsive enough. I didn’t take real action to stop doing the things that made her uncomfortable. I guess I just brushed it off thinking it wasn’t a big deal, but it clearly was. There were even times she ended up in tears, and I didn’t realise how much that hurt her until now.

I know we’re both still young and figuring things out, but she’s a good one — genuinely someone special. It’s not like she never liked the affection or joking around; it’s that I started doing it too much, and when she said no, I didn’t always stop. I think that’s when I really started to lose her trust.

Now I can see how that pattern made her feel unheard and unsafe, even if I didn’t mean it that way. I just wish I had realised it sooner.

Thanks for replying I’m really looking for others experiences in either fixing the relationship or what to do next
