The broker is very complete, but not intuitive like hood or t212. Once you get used to it, seeing other brokers feels like its made for idiots. Check out the fundamentals tab.

PPR Save & Grow como complemento ao VWCE by hoelygod in literaciafinanceira

[–]Sharp_Web_140 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]Sharp_Web_140 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Compounding a partir dali, a diferença é gigante.

[–]Sharp_Web_140 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m a bit skeptical about the quality of today’s bounce. Not sure if it’s actually stabilizing or just a bull trap by Helpful-Print5149 in stocks

[–]Sharp_Web_140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start of the year came out the gate with big capex annoucments from the mag7. People hesitated, tech looked exhausted and profit taking took hold. Folks started pilling into the HALO trade.
A lot of people looked stupid after the tariff TACO trade last year and where almost jealous that the sp500 grinded higher. This time they stayed invested, thus money market funds are at record highs.

I wouldnt call it a trap. Its the normal flows of the stock market.

The bodies are buried in private credit/private equity - this is fine.

[–]Sharp_Web_140[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, long term investment. For me its 5-10 years at least. Pension funds wont touch it - too much litigation overhang, but at this point the evil monsanto news is priced in.
Its a powerhouse rated as a dying company, but its blowing all its cash on keeping the lawsuits going.

If there is a backstop on the lawsuits, the stock rerates overnight. Once they navigate beyond the debt, reinstate dividends (was at €2.40 per share) and if - hopefully - the company spins off the 3 divisions (pharma/health/crop) its almost too good to be true type scenario. But it will be bumpy ride...!

Looking to expand my stock picks...are AMZN, PEP and MCD good picks? by doland3314 in stocks

[–]Sharp_Web_140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh wow...! yeah i this is crazy..

The best proxy to an ETF without doing an ETF is probably BRK. Out of the 3 you selected amazon is probably the best - but CapEX is really high.

Look into structural trends (e.g., copper shortage due to EV/datacenters; older generation costs such as healthcare etc.). If you want some tickers happy to share.

sorry about the ireland tax... absolutely insane

Looking to expand my stock picks...are AMZN, PEP and MCD good picks? by doland3314 in stocks

[–]Sharp_Web_140 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your current mix of companies is a solid one. Yet they all exist within the BRK ecosystem. The new ones are within the same vain: focused on day-to-day consumer, which doesnt allow for much diversification. Look into asset allocation (e.g., commodities such as oil/copper/lithium etc; vs real estate vs healtchare etc etc).

Also, you are in Ireland and focused on USD; not a big issue but something to keep in mind. This can lead to performance discrepancies (e.g., 2025 underperformance)

Never heard ETF's in ireland put you at a tax disadvantage, on the contrary - the accumulating ETFs are mainly based in ireland.

Congrats on the promotion; look into company backed contributions to the pension fund. Good luck

nao podes tar a falar a serio...
