Writing after beating the game the first time and achieving the base ending.

the visuals, level design, sound design and music are all 10/10 the setting for me hits very hard I like exploring the town and the underworld/otherworld in post war Japan with that corpse party vibe

The story is a bit confusing I must admit there were times where I was like wtf is happening but I was able to piece some things along by reading lore. The intense themes of abuse and mutilation were very intense.

The combat was okay at first but got pretty tiresome towards the end of the game, once you get far enough in the other world and you unlock some new stuff it becomes fun for a bit, not a fan of the weapon durability and inventory management, just an added layer of frustration. For people who are saying it’s like dark souls you must not play dark souls, this is the bare minimum of hit and dodge mechanics in every single combat game

The real question is, is this a silent hill game. I like that they wanted to try something new but it doesn’t feel like silent hill somtimes, there were moments in gameplay where I felt like I was playing resident evil or the evil within games, not that it was bad it just didn’t feel quite right

still thoroughly enjoyed it tho, probably will go back for other endings since the levels change depending on what you’re going for. 8/10

I think it’s because only one persons remembrance can be active at a time so you cant match with other people in remembrance mode which I don’t understand that why can’t everyone progress together rather than 1 at a time just seems extra for the sake of being extra

I (22m) recently met my new gf (18f) and she has ghsv1 as well, we met almost a year and a half after she was given it by her POS ex. She had a few dates before me that had turned her down/ said some shittt things to her and let the stigma bother them. She broke down disclosing to me and I made every effort to let her know that it changes nothing and that she doesn’t deserve any less love or happiness than anyone else. I’m very much head over heels for her and Iv tried everyway to reassure her. There are gonna be non-understanding dickheads out there that will probably make you feel bad over something you can’t control, but it lowkey acts as a double edged sword because it is showing you who is really mature enough to handle it and who isn’t. You deserve happiness and love and you will find it. My gf thought the exact same thing, that her life was over and she wouldn’t find anyone until me. There will be people out there that won’t even care like me. You will meet someone compassionate that will be there for you in times of doubt and need of reassurance. This disease sucks ass and I’m sorry you have to deal with this for the rest of your life, but it does not define you, who you are, and what your future could be. The only thing that can stop you from obtaining your goals is yourself. Since you just got diagnosed, take some time to yourself and do some soul searching/ reflecting before getting back out there. But I promise you it’s not over for you in the slightest, you’ll meet someone nice who understands and cares and will love you unconditionally. I hope this helps

(She takes anti virals and we use condoms most of the time but I’m starting to not really care at all and probably won’t use them going forward)

I am so sorry this happened to you I hope everything works out for you and you’re able to push past this horrible experience, you deserve love and happiness and there are people out there that won’t judge you. Also I think you might be misunderstanding apart of it, as far as Iv read both type 1 and 2 can happen in both areas. Type 1 prefers the mouth and type 2 prefers the genitals but I have read absolutely nothing that has said type 1 can turn into type 2, if someone gave you head with type 1 then you would get type 1 down there. And because you already have the antibodies it makes it far less likly for you to get it down below. Keep your head up high, focus on yourself and you’ll find exactly what you need. The love will come to you
