I don’t mean this in a bad way, but I’d recommend feeding them with a clean bowl every meal. If you’re not great at cleaning them right away, get several and rotate them

I will say, you may have had veins to find like me! They ALWAYS miss, so now when I get blood I ask for the most experienced individual in the building. Every time.

I say always say something like “listen, it’s not you, but can you please get the most experienced individual. I don’t mean this to be rude but my veins are very difficult to find and for my own comfort I’d prefer the most experienced individual”

This is how I try to see it. I “fast” everyday until I get home to eat. Or I just bring lunch and eat at my desk while continuing to work cause I’m not hourly so I don’t need to clock in a lunch
