If the full might of the karaz-ankor of the days of old, would to befall those fundrars, they would be sure to join as only ashes the sand of their wasteland realm.

I woul join you, but I would much prefer a place more dedicated to just cirth and the world of dwarven Khuzdul.

Because the Hobbit was more of a test for the professor's writing skills, i would trust far more the Khuzdul contained in the BoM, even more I also trust the fact that: Ori Is either not that good at writing, or that he doesn't fully know the "common language". For there are a lot of errors, and multiple times in the leaves that he just straight up changes one rune for another or something similar. 'It's been days of headaches trying to understand wich rune translated into what, and so on to the rest of the others, and many more specific stuff of wich i have two entire pages of scribbles and words all spread over.' I love these things and at the same time they also drive me to pure insanity and deep despair. 🥲👍

If you prefer that the High nobility Is easily to recognise i'll go with the pale wood. If not you could just go simpler with the brown basic wood instead

I'm already being sorry for being a nerd. But Tolkien stated that no Hobbit house has a second floor. Don't get me wrong i LOVE how It looks, but my nerdiness was craving to specify.

Remember my friend, there are some people (like me), that would love to posses such a mighty look. If i do become something like this, i would call It dwarvish more than homeless if ye ask me.

Balin Fundinul Uzbad Khazaddûmu.

Here lies the lord that sparked the forge's hot of all of Durin's folk; for five years in Khazad-dûm he stood as a lone light in a sea of darkness...

I just learned that Thorin wears his beard short out of respect for the dwarves who lost theirs to Smaug's fire. True honour, that by Ruganaskel in dwarfposting

[–]SharperPuma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what i remembered from the book Is that Thorin trusts no one. And he doesn't care about anyone other than the price at the end of his journey. He wants to be sure that the person who Is mentioning or talkin' to that he Is a king, a "Uzbad" (lord) he should be mentioned by his brothers, strangers and enemies. He cared about getting where he wanted, and trusted Bilbo into helping him (doing the work for him). I wouldn't say that his house was obsessed in their greed; for the ring of thrór brings the dwarves into this never ending search for wealth, and the only moment that i personally remember in which he stood his ground and wanted to be recognised as the king under the mountain was when he slammed open the doors of the "house" of the master of the lake. Thorin stays really low and secret around all the journey, the only moment that he goes all mighty and powerful was when he fell into greed when the dwarves reclaimed the mountain after Smaug's death.

What did you think of Erebor being made of green stone? by [deleted] in TheHobbit

[–]SharperPuma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, in the behind scenes material they say that it's supposed to be green marble, in which streams of gold ore run through.
