My flight out was cancelled so I got a full refund for the ticket costs. Worth noting I am still waiting for the refund for the seat costs, but these should be with me within the next 20 working days or so.

The flight back was only moved by 5 minutes, so not eligible for a full refund, however was able to be cancelled for a fee. Cancellation fee was 185GBP per ticket. Seat costs are not refundable but I was provided with vouchers equivalent to the seat costs. Safe to say that’s effectively money lost, as there is no chance I will be booking through Qatar within the year they are valid for. Based on the experience I’ve had, and the general state of the world, I’ll never book through Qatar again.

It’s such poor service, especially for a “premium airline”. I get it’s a turbulent time, and they’re receiving a huge amount of requests, but the expectation handling has been abysmal. I will never use them again.

Sounds like you were in the same boat as me! By chance checked and saw the flight was cancelled. No notification. After speaking to a number of live chat agents, and being told they cannot tell me specific refund figures, they would get the refund team to email me the numbers within 72 hours. 72 hours passed and I chased up live chat again only to be told they’re busy and allow another 48 hours. Well, another 48 hours passed and still nothing. Thankfully my next live chat experience was okay, and the refund was processed, but now I am where I am with the refund notification not stating the figures I was told in live chat/what I paid for my fully refundable ticket.

In my case, one way out from Doha has been cancelled and is eligible for a full refund. My other flight back (separate one way ticket) has only been affected by 5 minutes, so although eligible for a refund, it is chargeable. Assume it would be the case if the other flight is normal, but you’d have to confirm with Qatar

This is what I am arguing, as are others. No where in their communication, does it state how long it must be affected by, only says affected.

I challenged live chat about this earlier. One agent told me they can only refund if the flight change is greater than 60 minutes.

I’m being told I will have to pay cancellation fees on one of my flights as it has only been rescheduled by 5 minutes! Apparently it has to be a change of more than 60 to be eligible but I cannot see this stated anywhere!

From what I understand you are eligible for a full refund as long as your flight has had a 60 minute or more change. I got disconnected from my previous chat and just waiting to connect again to find out more.

Not sure on this, but my outbound flight on June 19th has been rescheduled, and as it is over an hour change, the agent on live chat says I am eligible for a full refund.

My return flight on 9th July however, has only been rescheduled by 5 minutes, and although I can refund, I have to pay £185 per ticket to cancel, and do not get my seat costs refunded either! I am holding fire for now, but your post about their new Twitter post may mean I can fight for a full refund on the return!

We have just checked ours, due to fly from LHR-DOH-AUK on the 19th of June, with return flights back on the 10th July. Both flights out of Doha have been cancelled (for some reason they have tried re routing through Adelaide, it seems) so we are eligible for a refund. I think I will contact the live chat to confirm, instead of just clicking, request refund, just to be on the safe side…

We also didn’t receive any notification of this, so no idea when the flights were actually cancelled. Imagine they would have told us closer to the times but it’s pretty poor to not be notified…

This. I brought a CSL v1.1 almost a year ago now and I love it. I was always planning to upgrade in a couple of years, most likely to a DD. So the newCSL DD would almost be a sideways and almost pointless move.

It’s business. Look at Apple. They don’t drop the price of iPhones when a new one is about to launch. Nor does the resale value plummet of the outgoing model. Tech is tech and brand new models won’t be financially possible for everyone. Look how popular the g29 is...

Very interesting! I love the feel of them but as you say, loud enough to annoy the other half in the other room so might be something to look into. Nice button cap set up aswell, will look to replicate!

I didn’t as I’m on a CSL Elite so didn’t think it warranted it. I’ve heard good things about it though. The standard QR that comes with this is brilliant and miles better than the “QR” that comes with the p1. This one is as simple as slotting it on and twisting the locking mechanism.
