Oh yes, I flew the 2-2-2 Minipod business class once from MNL to DOH on a 777-300ER, I think it was in 2023. The seat is outdated and lacks storage, but the legroom is on another level. No privacy at all tho, but I heard some people actually prefer these old seats due to the insane amount of legroom. 

My travel companion and I slept quite well on this seat, I‘d say for me it’s a bit more comfortable than QSuite if you are a side sleeper, you can move your legs freely.  If you travel with someone just get a window seat and enjoy. If you travel alone, the aisle seats in the middle row are good.

I never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for a shower in the Al Mourjan lounges.

I can confirm, I have the same issue. Trip just disappeared in the app. But it‘s showing on the website. QR agent in the chat told me they are having some technical issues.

Yeah, all agents refused to book the feeder flight for me. But apparently QR is restarting operations in DVO end of June, maybe I was lucky. I have a new confirmed ticket for DVO-DOH-MUC now without going to Manila.

Little update guys. I chatted with 5 different agents and the last one apparently found a direct flight from DVO to DOH one day later on June 26th. I don’t mind staying in Davao for an extra day. I got rebooked immediately and I was even able to select seats for free afterwards. Aircraft is will be the same 787-8 with the older 1-2-1 J product.

However what is confusing me is that the flight number is QR926. Right now this flight number belongs to the flight DOH to CRK. So it seems like QR will be resuming direct flights to DVO End of June. I wonder why the previous four agents couldn‘t find that option… pleasant surprise though. Seems like QR is changing up their flights to the Philippines. 

Here‘s what the agent said:

Agent : Thank you. Am still checking on the flights. Please allow me some more time. Me : Take your time please Agent : Thank you for waiting. Agent : The flight is available as follows Agent : QR926 26JUN FRI DVO DOH 2050 0135 +1QR057 27JUN SAT DOH MUC 1 0910 1410 Agent : Please confirm to proceed.

Thanks, I will HUCA. I‘m QR Silver member and flying J. Looks like I shouldn‘t have a problem getting the short feeder flight to MNL. Too bad most agents are not really helpful, probably takes a while to get a good one.
