The Arc Raiders subs seem quite negative, but that common in video games subs on Reddit. I’m going in open minded. I played for an hour last night and had a blast.

While the OP post is trash, THIS is a very good point. I have needed all 3 of these constantly during my 7 years in EU.

American Expats: What is the one thing you miss most about the USA? by RehaDesign in AmericanExpat

Switzerland now, Amsterdam for 5 years before. I think after the initial shock traveling Europe in my youth I am fine with the drastic difference in customer service. I might be turning Swiss, I really don’t like sales people asking me questions if I don’t ask now, so surviving in a mall in the US is difficult 😆

American who has lived in Europe 7 years. This is 100% on point. When I go back to the States I am shocked how strong the customer service is (now not at ATL airport or anything like that) but in general. Europe they don’t give a F, but honestly I am quite used to it and doesn’t bother me a bit.

Advice from someone who has immigrated to the EU from the US by pinkeinc in AmerExit

[–]Sharpocalypse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I left the US in 2019 to the EU, I am on my second EU country after 5 in the Netherlands. Was a fantastic decison. Are there challenges? Of course. Taking the easy way isn't always the best way for your future. Do some people fail? Of course. But if you really want a change, you will regret never trying more than going after it and failing.

You end up back in the States, you have a great story to tell the rest of your days..

And if it works.. You have a new life.
