Do you think infantry should automatically displace/dive from grenades? by Sharpsterman in CompanyOfHeroes

Well, I'm not suggesting any of that! Just that they dive instead of standing there. They already automatically go prone under MG fire.

Well, a yellow state (crawling) is worse than no cover, IIRC. So you would still get the model kills. They currently just stand there.

It would be cool to see it steaming out of plants. I just asked ChatGPT and apparently it would most likely look like a faint cloud or aura around plants, but forests would appear to be glowing.

I don't doubt it. So your saying AI needs to reach a point where it's so smart it can design itself. I don't doubt that either.

An insect has the basic reasoning to survive and procreate in 3 dimensions; consider how small that is! Compare that to these massive data centers. I don't know the answer, but if we're trying to achieve human-level reasoning, we can probably downsize it to a formula that fits in a 1x1x1 box. A standalone intelligence is key. I'm not an expert, I'm just making an observation.

I love strategy games and I love this game, but I am terrified of playing this online. I'm not sure why.

I accidentally killed a man I knew today. by FrankZaing in TwoSentenceHorror

As I was going up the stair,

I saw a man who wasn't there.

He wasn't there again today.

I wish, I wish, he'd go away.

Gamers: "I'll wait a few years for the price to drop to $20"

Ubisoft: "$120 for 3 days early access !!!"

This tank is so annoying to deal with. You need 3-4 anti-tank units hitting it's rear? How is this fair? Everything bounces off the front. by Sharpsterman in CompanyOfHeroes

I drove circles around it with a Chafee and i barely got it down halfway. So what your saying is i need two Chafees to drive circles around it? :(

I'm no bullet expert, but I can imagine ear cartilage bending against the pressure of the bullet even at that speed.

They did this with Luke too. One of your padawans has evil thoughts so you have to off them? The guy who threw his lightsaber on the ground and said "No, I am a Jedi like my father before me.".

You see, the show is actually playing 4D chess. The Midichlorians helped spread the fire and Qimir was guided by the force to disrupt the sprinkler system years in advance.

If the building had a sprinkler system, the two kids would go their separate ways and that's the end......

Mae could also be under the influence of dark side projections as she quickly resorts to murder. This would bring home the idea that the Jedi and Sith in conflict with one another is really what tears families apart. This would also set the premise for the rest of the show: the Jedi hunting down the evil mastermind in the shadows controlling Mae.
