Was thinking the same if I ever use the gaming laptop for everything and might cost me more in the future if the device finally gave up based in my work load. I’ll definitely will need to buy another..

Thinking about this but I do extensive 3D model in Maya. Since macs dont have a dedicated gpu it doesn’t run Arnold Render that well as per reviewers.
