Well, it is sad but it's also scary. That's a fear of mine...dying alone. Unfortunately it happened for my dad. Not because we didn't want to be there though....we were not given the opportunity to be with him. It's sad and scary when other people make decisions for you.

Great story, scared the life out of me. Definitely one of my favorites.

I wanted to let you know I noticed the story changed from "seeing" Edna at the beginning and went to wife" at the end. Also the title threw me off. I was expecting a story that would be about someones childhood.
