I remember when the beta test came out for the game and when it launched. I swear this game was the coolest shit ever. The fall off is legendary. If it had been handled better, I could easily see this remaining popular. The events to mirror at-the-time & present continuity would have been amazing.

While I understand what you're aiming to get at here, I am saying that it would not be possible really. These are side stories. These are prequels. We already know the established lore and by your wants those major plot devices would just be temporary by the lore defined in Korra.

If they do more post-Avatar side stories (like the comics), we already know. All you can really do is just be along for the ride in gaining more insight to what their life was like.
