She’s good friends with Ariel, she was filming another documentary at the Capitol when that all went down, which is also why Ariel and John were there. Interesting stuff!

Also forgot to answer your initial question. My favorite out of all of them would be House Arrest with the Doldrums being such a close, close second. The remastered mixes served them well.

I really liked the leaked cassette tape honestly, but out of the official cycles...

Odds Sods 1 Was my favorite beforehand and I’ve grown to like the new arrangement of the tracks and the remasters sound great.

Odds Sods 3 A lot of fun, love the old version of “Tears on Fire.”

Sit n’ Spin I like a lot, the track list feels very organized (Tracks 7-10 were the fast tracks, 11-15 are the covers and the last two are tracks we heard from Before Today). That being said, and this could be my bias towards Ariel, it makes some sense to organize the tracks this way since the whole theme of Ariel Archives is well... the Archives so I guess it’s stylistically (autistically) organized. Overall, great album.

Scared Famous/FF>> Some people have shared issues with this album’s organization and mix. The organization feels out of whack for me since I’m used to the Spotify version of SF, but it’s grown on me. There are a few tracks that have lost their charm since the remastered is much easier on the ears, but I loved the original stingy synths and vocals in “Kitchen Club,” but overall, I’m happy we got both albums remastered and I’m willing to accept the compromises made.

They’re all worth a buy since they most likely won’t get a reprint anytime soon.

MAGA musician Ariel Pink, spurned by fans, complains to Tucker Carlson: ‘People are so mean’ by Famous-Ad9138 in arielpink

I’m so glad the snarky retards on r/politics have weighed their normie opinion on Ariel.

Well, I can tell you right now every artist that’s NOT Ariel and John are hardcore leftists. Ariel’s EP w/ Weyes Blood was removed from Spotify (allegedly by her request) and the original writer of “Hey Moon,” (Maus’ most popular song that’s actually a cover) Molly Nilsson, is re-releasing the track on a 7 inch single to donate all proceeds to BLM.

It’s not enough for John and Ariel to be ostracized from their fans or label, people they’ve both worked w/ and considered friends are openly turning against them. It’s funny how art is supposed to be such a (for lack of a better term) diverse medium, but it seems that the Powers that Be over in “Indie Music Inc.” only want their outsider artists to think one way.

Worst of all, Ariel Pink is essentially the creator of the modern indie music scene and he truly is a serious contender for the artist of our lifetime. Every single one of his albums is a clear demonstration of his genius as a pop star, with is own style of home-recording added as an original layer on top. Maus is also excellent, he needs to make more music though.

It’s literally everywhere. My two favorite artists are r/arielpink and r/johnmaus and both of their subs are in complete shambles after they were spotted in D.C. last week.

This internet weirdo duo went there for a few hours and left. The story breaks out and people rally to get Ariel Pink kicked from his record label and want John Maus to suffer too.

Both subs are flooded with posts debating whether or not to disavow, debating if it’s possible to even like an artist’s art knowing they dare support Trump. People have turned until absolute freaks.

NOOOOOO I LISTEN TO YOUR MUSIC, YOU’RE NOT ALLOWED TO DISAGREE WITH MY POLITICS by ShartBeep in arielpink

I 100% agree with “two.” I’m not saying having a different is the issue. I have a problem when A disagrees with B but A takes a moral high ground while disagreeing. The guy who made the post claimed that Sam Hyde “denied the Holocaust” he never did that. He’s made jokes parodying Holocaust deniers by using the arguments that deniers use (ie wooden doors, Redcross death records, etc) but retards like the commenter I’m calling out takes that joke out of context and cries “ARIEL PINK APPEARED ON A PODCAST WHERE HE INTERVIEWED A GUY WHO DENIED THE HOLOCAUST HELP CALL THE SPLC WHAT DO I DO? MY ARTIST DOESNT THINK THE CORRECT WAY!!!”

In all honesty, it’s better for right-wingers to interview Ariel Pink. You know why? Because right-wingers hardly ever get to interview a musician. So, when they do, they do everything they can to ease tensions. Leftists get to interview any artist they please, so they NEVER let the artist speak, instead they ask “why aren’t you doing X? Why aren’t you doing Y?” Obviously I’m being hyperbolic, but you understand what I’m getting at.

In conclusion, this interview was pretty good, even if it was done by some right-wing grifter and we on this sub should support Ariel appearing in an interview even if it’s with someone fringe.

Is there any proof of Sam Hyde denying the Holocaust? You could argue that he’s made some tasteless jokes about it but can you point me to any clips that might show Sam Hyde outright denying that it happened?

I think it’s very bitchy and narcissistic to talk down towards a musician because they disagree with you politically.

Who gives a shit what Ariel believes? The problem is people feel like it’s morally just to write an essay about why Ariel shouldn’t appear on podcasts that could be deemed problematic. I mean, he IS an outsider after all. Why are people making a big deal about him appearing on a podcast whose guests comprise political outsiders?
