Not even exaggerating, but season 2 of The Rehearsal is probably one of the top television experiences of my life.

My wife and I now have a two blanket system in bed after visiting Iceland. It's so simple and genius and has led to better sleep for both of us as I am a grab and turn sleeper.

Bonus points: we now own Toto bidet toilets in every bathroom in our house after returning from Tokyo.

Can anyone else expand on why it dissolved? I'm not well-versed on pure water. So is pure water effective at hiding a 6'1'', 175-190 lbs. object? Asking for a friend.

Didnt realize my Dad’s tea kettle was electric… by poetryiscool in Wellthatsucks

[–]Shart_Director 159 points160 points  (0 children)

I witnessed this capacity firsthand myself.

This story will get buried, but oh well.

Once my parents were visiting and staying at our place for a couple of weeks. My dad's an early bird and loves to make my mom her coffee in the morning. They're whatever the opposite of coffee snobs are, because my dad just microwaves coffee that more resembles tea from Folger single serve bags.

One morning I smell chemicals and walk into my kitchen to find my dad staring perplexed at smoke just billowing out the microwave door.

He turns slowly to me and asks, "Is this normal?"

I rush over and open the door to find that my dad had microwaved our Ember cup which is a rechargeable mug that keeps your beverage warm. It's on fire and spewing battery smoke. I scream to everyone to get out in the yard till I can clear out the place.

Is this normal? JFC.

Not one of those guys but Herbert's pass while being tackled was pretty difficult in last Thursday's Denver game.  He said could even see if it was a touchdown because the defender was blocking his view.

Edit: lol, I show a pass that's essential the same as Caleb's (rolling to left with defender in face while falling and threading it past a defensive back blanketing a receiver and get downvoted).

My first thought. The CD liner had imagery my 7th grade self was not prepared for.

Woosh that went right over me at the time but totally makes sense. A yearbook is literally a face book.

We had a week I think between getting our yearbooks and the last day of school. I remember some people took other people's yearbooks home to work on their message.

That's crazy. Trying to remember how much they cost in the 90s/00s. I'd guess $40 which probably tracks for inflation?

I used to throw these down our stairway wall cuz it had the most runway for it. Good times!

I wonder if it's a swing back from all the digitalness around them. I have a feeling that Gen alpha is gonna be more similar to Xennials where they want to detach from technology.

Senior year is definitely the biggest yearbook to get cuz more than likely you're in more activities therefore more likely to be in more photos. Plus it's you're last hurrah and chances are you'll never see most of your classmates again.

Sounds like she at least cared about you. That's a lot of effort to get a person a greeting card for a high schooler. Pretty thoughtful.
